Children & Youth Ministries Director, Lynn Gilbert
Lynn, a native of the High Country, her husband Adam and two children, Lanson and Ellie, joined Liberty Grove in 2017. Since that time, Lynn has lead an active role in Children and Youth Ministries as a Sunday School Teacher and VBS Director. Her prayer for Liberty Grove comes from Mark 16:15, “Go into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature,” and knows we must begin with the children and youth in our church and community.
Admin & Communications Specialist, Johnna Matthews
Johnna and her husband, Justin, came to Liberty Grove in 2021. They moved back “home” after 27 years in Wake Forest, NC where she worked for the last previous eight years as the Communications Specialist at Wake Forest Baptist Church. They have two grown children, Jackson and Jillian. Johnna is looking forward to being a part of Liberty Grove’s future as a growing church in Ashe County.
